The Comcast hack: What you should know about data security

Comcast sent out a notice to customers early last Monday to notify them of unauthorized access to their internal systems. The information acquired during the data breach included names, contact information, the last four digits of the Social Security number, and dates of birth. The hack has affected over 35.8 million people and underscored the need for robust cybersecurity protocols, regular system audits, and an increased awareness of data protection strategies among users.
